- Contact Katherine to discuss your needs, the market conditions and initiate a property search.
- Contact a preferred lender to determine your "purchasing power" and to get pre-qualified.
- Make sure that you have representation. Enter into a Buyer Agency Agreement with RE/MAX Crossroads/Katherine Charapich.
- Katherine will review the meaning of Designated Agency and Disclosed Dual Agency with you.
- Katherine will set up a tour of properties that meet your parameters.
- Based on the tour and your feedback, Katherine will continue to conduct an effective search for properties on your behalf.
- Once you identify a property, Katherine will help you write an offer.
When writing an offer consider (but, not limited too) the following:
a. Purchase Price
b. Settlement Date
c. Settlement Agent
d. Good Faith Deposit
e. Soil and/or Feasibility Study
f. Home Inspection Contingency
g. Radon Contingency
h. Lead Based Paint Contingency
i. Home Sale Contingency
j. Coinciding Settlement
- Katherine will deliver the offer to the Listing Agent.
- There may be negotiations that take place during this period.
- Upon ratification of a contract, Katherine will guide you in the satisfaction of all of the contingencies.
- Katherine will forward a copy of the contract to your lender and settlement agent.
- Katherine will be with you at settlement. Upon recordation and disbursement of funds, you will receive keys to the property.
